Merry Christmas one and all! Isn’t that video just adorable? I know this is an extremely busy week for everyone. I hope this post finds you relaxing with friends and family, celebrating the birth of our Lord, and enjoying all this season has to offer! Of course, if you are anything like me, you may be running pillar to post trying to make things perfect, getting all those last minute details accomplished like wrapping presents and cleaning the teeny tiny spaces around your dining chairs (a chore bestowed upon me when I was young and still perform to this day each Christmas!)
So, this week’s challenge I want to things keep simple again, so here goes: stop stressing over holiday details! Instead, enjoy spending time with your family and friends. Attend a church service. Tonight, read the Nativity story out loud to all in attendance. Sing Christmas carols together. Say thank you to God for everything He has given us, especially for the gift of His son born this night!
Take it Further:
If you want to take it further, how about delivering a special gift to your neighbors? Perhaps a plate of cookies? A poinsettia? Or maybe, if you are brave enough (admittedly I am not) go caroling as a family! On second thought, maybe I will go out and sing to my neighbors tonight! I can’t wait to see the looks on their faces!
I wish everyone a very blessed Christmas! Enjoy your week and God’s Blessings to you and yours!
